Centenary of the death of Gustave Eiffel on December 27, 2023. The Eiffel Tower in Paris, 330 meters high, built entirely of Puddled Iron and also using the Saint-André cross technique (X-shaped metal beams). It was started on January 26, 1887. On March 31, 1889, the Tower was completed in a record time of 2 years, 2 months and 5 days. 100 years since the Iron Lady's engineer died. On December 27, 1923 Gustave Eiffel took his last breath at the age of 91.
